Darren Allen Olofson was born at Calgary, Alberta on May 25, 1968 and passed away suddenly at Killam, Alberta on December 8, 2013 at the age of 45 years.

He is survived by his loving wife Gail; three children Sarah (Cody) Anderson, Alyssa and Matthew; three siblings Jackie (Greg) Lewis, Billie-Jean Brodie and James (Aleisha) Brodie; numerous other relatives.

Darren was predeceased by his parents Bud Olofson, Donna Brodie, Bill Brodie and his niece Jenna Brodie.

Memorial donations in memory of Darren may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Stars or a charity of the donor's choice.
