I was Darrens neighbor and friend two miles straight west. We often took our crops off the same time by hwy 36. We would race in the field like normal kids and go dirt biking. He was a great person and at this time I hope you always hold and treasure those memories that bring warm thoughts. Stay strong to all of you in his family. I go by his farm alot lately in my world of trucking and miss him as well. Take care to each of you. God Bless Hugs

I am truely saddened by the sudden passing of a friend that growing up I did so much with. Living only two miles across always meant he was a short moment of fun away. To his family I send my deepest sympathy. These times are so hard to remain strong. But holding fast to the lasting memories and laughter are those that can carry the heart through the tough moments. He was a great friend and neighbor. I will miss you my friend.

I remember on Saturday's heading out to 'the pasture' with my brothers and a lot of them with Darren, saddling the horses for our weekly tour. One Saturday morning because we were so cool at the time, deciding we were going to try smoking. We headed to the drive thru in Killam (the name escapes now) Darren was elected to go inside to see if he could purchase the cigarettes. Darren told them that they were for his grandpa, (can you believe how lax things were then) they asked why grandpa couldn't buy his own cigarettes, Darren's reply was "he's outside holding the horse", out he came with the smokes. He was the best. I remember more moments than stories. I see clearly Darren's face, and he is smiling and laughing and having a great time with my brothers, I know how they appreciated his friendship and will miss him. God bless you all in this difficult time.

My deepest condolences go out to all of Darren's family and friends. Most of you will not know me but I have worked with Darren for the last 3yrs as a consultant. It was my pleasure to have know him. He was not only a great guy to work with but turned into someone I considered a good friend. We would often talk about bikes (Harley's). He really wanted to get one. May GOD Bless and be near to you at this time.

Although I had never had the opportunity to meet Darren in person, I had worked very closely with him over the phone/email. He was a great guy and my heart is broken for his family. May they find the peace and comfort they need at this difficult time.

I was saddened to hear of Darren's passing. My condolences go out to Gail, and the children. Also my condolences go out to Jackie, Billie-Jean and James in the loss of your brother. With the exception of Jackie, you all probably do not know of me. I am a first cousin on Darren's side of the family, my mother and Darren's father were twins. I have numerous memories of Darren and Jackie when they were young, at family events. Even though we had not seen each other for years it does not dull the hurt of this loss. Rest in Peace Darren.
