John White was born November 25, 1925 on his family's farm south of Killam, and passed away peacefully on May 16th at the Killam Long Term Health Care Facility at the age of 87 years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 62 years, Lorraine; his children: Debbie of Edmonton; Bill of Fort McMurray; Sharon (James) Edgington of Strome; Valerie (Dave) of Fort McMurray; his sister-in-law Jeanne White of Killam; seven grandchildren: Amanda, Angela, Tony (Kellie), Barb (Adam), Crystal, Michael, Melissa (Ryan) and five great grandchildren.

John was predeceased by his daughter Janet in 1984 and his brother Dick in 1992.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21st at the Killam Community Centre. Memorial donations in memory of John may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
