Obituary of Hugo Schultz

Hugo Schultz was born to Fred and Pauline Schultz at Wiershky, Poland on October 11, 1924 and passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Hugo was a farmer at heart. With his brother Ken, they farmed the land all of their lives. Hugo was very active in curling in his earlier years. He loved to play pool and spent many hours playing at the Big Knife Villa. He was also an avid goose hunter. Hugo loved to tell stories about his past. He spent many hours with Hardy and May Scheler. He also loved to tell a good joke. During the last few years Hugo had trouble with his hip. He never complained about having difficulty getting in his truck to go for a drive. Many times when the Streich's were farming the land you could see Hugo coming down the road with a beer for the guys. He would always say they needed to wash the dust down. He came out to the farm on Saturday to see how the preparations were coming along with the farm sale. Hugo was predeceased by his parents Fred and Pauline, sister Aurelia and brother Ken. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church, Forestburg. Interment will take place in the Forestburg Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church or the Forestburg Cemetery.
