Obituary of Nettie Johnston

Nettie Johnston was born to Fred and Beatrice Renshaw at Skegby, Nottinghamshire, England on November 25, 1912 and passed away in the Hardisty Health Centre on February 6, 2013 at the age of 100 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Doris (Oscar) Blize, Jean (Bud) Bargholz, Edith (Wayne) Bitzer, Kenneth (Mary) Johnston; daughter-in-law Joyce Montalbetti; 97 grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. Nettie was predeceased by her parents; husband James Johnston in 1974; her son Harry Johnston; her daughter Beatrice Kneller; son-in-law Ervin Kneller; three grandsons, one granddaughter, one great grandson, five brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the St. Paul's United Church - Hardisty. Memorial donations in memory of Nettie may be made to the Hardisty Hospital Auxiliary or to a charity of the donor's choice.
