Obituary of Doug Melnyk

It breaks our hearts to announce the passing of Douglas Melnyk of Forestburg on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at the age of 61 years. Doug is survived by his children Amber and Kevin; sisters Rosemarie (Barry) Oberg, Pauline (Barry) Fossen, brothers Ron (Laurie) and Don (Judy); numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Doug was predeceased by his parents Paul and Olga. Due to Health regulations a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. If family and friends so desire, memorial donations in Doug’s memory are gratefully accepted at the Forestburg Cemetery. Cheques must be made out to the Forestburg Community Enhancement Fund or a charity of choice.
