Obituary of Shirley Mae Helmig

Shirley Helmig (nee Stenson) was born June 21, 1943 at Forestburg, passed away at the age of 77 years on Friday December 18, 2020 at the Daysland Health Centre. She is survived by her 2 children Steven (Leanne) Helmig and Trina (Robert) Bouchard, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 4 brothers Ron (Carol) Stenson, Graham (Ruth) Stenson, John (Karen) Stenson, Brent (Molly) Stenson and 4 sisters Kay (Lowell) Calder, Cheryl (Ken) Cresswell, Nancy (John) Sandmaier, Susan (Rick) Bakstad. In laws Don Helmig, Elaine (Gordon) Ross, Morris Helmig, Otto Helmig, many nieces, nephews and valued family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wayne Helmig as well as her parents Eldon & Muriel Stenson and father and mother-in-law Art & Joyce Helmig. Due to COVID-19 restrictions a memorial and inurnment will be held at a later date.
