Obituary of Vikki Whitehead
Vikki Lynn Whitehead was born July 14, 1947 at Killam, Alberta. She passed away November 15th quietly at her home. She had been ill health for sometime. After losing her little dog Lana on Sunday morning, her heart was broken.
Vikki was a little person but always loved sports and excelled in them. She was a catcher for the Lougheed Rockets and after graduation she moved to Edmonton still playing softball for the Spartans. She went on to be the coach and received recognition from the Alberta Amateur Softball Hall of Fame in 1994.
Vikki worked most of her career at Cadillac Plastics in Edmonton and then transferred to Calgary where she purchased a home finishing her working life. In 2002 she retired and moved home to Sedgewick. She spent many years working on the house she had moved to town. She had many beautiful flowers and kept the yard in perfect condition.
Vikki was a bit of a perfectionist and liked everything in order but was full of fun and music. On the night she left us all the music was playing in her room. We will all remember the happy times, and her theme song was "I Did It My Way".
Survived by her sisters Jeanette Harris, Gerry Rombough (Brian), brothers Wayne (Gloria), Pat (Esther), Mike (Deb), Tim and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father Bert, mother Belva, brother Dale and brother-in-law Pat Harris.
Rest in peace dear sister, we will miss you.
