I am saddened to think of the passing of Jean. She was a rock, a mentor, a staple in the Amisk community. The influence of both your parents' good teaching abilities are part of who I am today, and as I reflect on my growing up years in Amisk, I smile at the thought of them. We have a beautiful pastel of the church we were married in, that Jean kindly did for us. It is so special to me.
