Sorry to hear of Ernie's death, we are so glad we got to meet and know Ernie many years ago. He had to fight so hard for the short life he had . Just remembering how happy he was at Anita's birthday in August and how excited he was to see all his friends and family. May you keep those memories close to you. God knew he had strength and needed him else where. May you rest in peace.

To all my grieving family:
We are all diminished by Ernie's loss. To you he was a beloved brother, uncle, husband, dad and grandpa, and he was cherished by each of you. During the last difficult year especially, he was passionate about proclaiming his love for all of you, and for his Lord. His optimistic loving personality was a gift he freely gave to all, and this we will sorely miss. I know that the strength of your memories will keep his spirit alive within your hearts, and that his legacy of love will be passed from his children to his grandchildren and beyond.
Take comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with Auntie Edna, Uncle Lloyd. Doreen, Reg and Rick.
Ernie was my funny, friendly cousin, and a childhood friend whom I'll remember always.
Hugs to everyone.
Sheila Scharmann (Palmer)
