Obituary of Carol Ann Odzic

It is with profound sadness that the family of Carol Odzic (Erikssen) announce her passing. Carol Ann Odzic (Erikssen) was born to Gudmunn and Ruth Erikssen on January 11, 1955 in Killam, Alberta and passed away at the Univesity of Alberta hospital on October 11, 2016 at the age of 61 years. Her love for life and twinkle in her eyes will be dearly missed. She is survived by her common-law husband Tom Aldridge; her three children, Kevin (Denise) Sonnleitner, Aaron (Lisa) Sonnleitner, Sherrie (Jason) Webb; Tom’s two children, Lynn (Lorraine) Aldridge and Leanne (Shane) Sarvor; her six grandchildren Kelsey, Kyle, Laryssa, Brayden, Sebastian and Logan; and her great grandson Charlie; her mother Ruth Erikssen; siblings, Ronnie (Liz) Erikssen, Thora (Dale) Johnson, Linda Pellern, Bryan (Liz) Erikssen, Mervin (Lori) Erikssen, Laura (Willy) Sonnleitner, Edward Erikssen and adopted sister Julie Kurylowich. Carol was predeceased by her father Gudmunn; sister Ruby. A memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the Sedgewick Community Hall at 1:00 pm. Hall is located on main street in Sedgewick Alberta. Everyone is welcome to join the family for Carol's Inurnment, which take place immediately following the memorial service at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery approximately 6 miles North of Lougheed on Highway 870. Everyone is invited back to the Sedgewick Community Hall after the Inurnment for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Memorial donations in memory of Carol can be made to any humane society or the charity of donor’s choice.
