Obituary of Ivan Gordon Engebretson

Ivan Gordon Engebretson was born to Thoralf and Hulda Engebretson on the family farm on August 18, 1920 and passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Camrose on August 27, 2016 at the age of 96 years. He is survived by his two daughters Audrey (Robert) Frizzell and Linda Mustad; five grandchildren David (Teresa), Bryan (Krista and her children Zack and Tyson), Brett (Dayna), John (Susan) and Karla; one sister Florence Breum. Ivan was predeceased by his wife Esther; son-in-law Duane Mustad; parents Thoralf and Hulda; three sisters Mary Kruse, Irene McMahon, Doris Kruse;three step-brothers, Hjamer Fossen, Joe Fossen, Joy Fossen; four brothers-in-law Frank Kruse, Walter Kruse, Wayne McMahon and Clifford Breum. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 5, 2016 at the Forestburg Community Centre. Memorial donations in memory of Ivan may be made to the Pleasington Historical Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
