Obituary of Margaret Anne Dorion

Margaret Anne Dorion, affectionately known as “Peggy”, slipped peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father at Killam Health Center on July 29, 2016. Born December 27, 1951, Peggy was the fifth child in the James and Leonora Weeks family. She took all her schooling in Killam and Sedgewick where she excelled. After graduation, Peggy left home and continued on to see the world in her own time and on her own terms. After many years she moved back home to Killam in 2013. Peggy is survived by five sisters and three brothers; Carol (Fred) Wilson of Killam, Bernard (Donna) Weeks of Edmonton, Arlene (Allen) Young of Abbotsford, BC, Doris (Ken) Johnson of Sedgewick, Ron (Rosemary) Weeks of Killam, Lois (Frank) Sorensen of Killam, Valerie (Kirby) Kraushar of Edmonton, Bill Weeks of Killam; as well as a host of nieces and nephews of whom she was so proud. Peggy was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Perry in 2008 and Norman in 2014. A memorial service will be held from Pleasington Lutheran Church on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ross Helgeton officiating. Memorial donations gratefully accepted for Killam Health Center, any addiction recovery center or donor’s choice.
