Obituary of Allison Theresa Barton

Allison (Sunny) Theresa Barton was born in Edmonton on June 16, 1926 and passed away May 17, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Barb (Hank) Kunst, their children/her grandchildren Michel, Karyn(Gordon) Sinclair and grandbaby Boston; her daughter-in-law Roxanne Barton and her children Jessy, Ethan and Sawyer. She was predeceased by her husband Tommy Barton and their son Richard Barton. Sunny was very devoted to her family and was very involved in the Royal Canadian Legion, Charter Member and 1st President of the Auxiliary of Kinross Branch #180 Lougheed, and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Alberta NWT Command. She belonged to numerous organizations in her community and loved people. Please join the family for a “Walk Down Memory Lane” on Saturday May 21 – Come and Go celebration of her life between 2 – 5 pm at the home of Hank & Barb Kunst.
