Obituary of Ralph Manning

Ralph Edwin Manning was born at Hardisty, Alberta on August 24, 1927, the eldest child of Edwin and Paulette Manning. He passed away on June 23, two months before his 85th birthday. Ralph is survived by his son Allan and wife Joyce, daughter Marie and husband Dean Peacock, and daughter Marilyn and husband Pat Bartoshyk; grandchildren Steven (Marsha), Carrie (Shane), Travis (Michelle), Cheryl (Danny), Carla (Keith), Patrick and Aryn; great-grandchildren Evan, Kenzie, Max, Annabelle, Corbin and Zane; his sister Helen and husband Harvey Sturm, and brother Maurice Manning and wife Kathleen; numerous nephews and nieces. Ralph was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis, in 2010. Ralph's family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. F. Botha and all the staff at the Hardisty Health Care Centre for their wonderful care and genuine kindness. A memorial service will held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30th at the Hardisty Community Centre with Valerie Ellis officiating. Memorial donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
