To Marge and Don’s greater family,
We send our heartfelt condolences on his passing.
I will always remember two events with Don as a young boy. When we visited, Don would throw me in the truck for chores. He had the patience to explain how things should be done correctly on the farm, then kindly let me participate despite being a “city slicker”.
It would have been easier and faster for him to do things himself….but he did his job completely without complaint.
The other memory was of his and Marge’s wedding day. My father-Lyle- leaned over to me and said “they’re happy”…..only years later did I come to understand how special that was/is. 45 years of marriage may seem too short, but what an example.
