This is very sad indeed. Michele and I would often run into John and Colleen at the Alberta Baroque Ensemble concerts, after which we had the pleasure several times of sharing a meal all together. John always had interesting stories to tell and I loved that, while he eagerly partook of what the city had to offer, he was always a rural guy at heart. I'm glad we crossed paths, even if only for that tiny sliver of time.
