Obituary of Rose Dewald

Rose Marie Dewald was born June 19, 1962 in Killam, Alberta to Eugene and Mary Hoffman. She passed away at the Wainwright Hospital on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of 61 years.

 She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years Ernest Dewald, children Cody (Jeanene) Dewald, Raelyn (Ryan) Parsons, and grandchildren Kinley and Carter Dewald.  She is survived by her mother Mary Hoffman, brother Dennis (Nancy) Hoffman and their children Ashley, Deanna and Hayley, and her sister Iva (Vern) Snethun and their children Chad and Tyler. 

Rose was predeceased by her father Eugene Hoffman, and parents-in-law Valentine and Elsie Dewald.

As we remember this remarkable woman, we celebrate a life that was marked by resilience, love, and an unwavering connection to all those who met her. In honor of Rose’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hardisty Community Hall on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
