Ruth Erikssen was born on May 26, 1925 at Sedgewick, Alberta and passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 97 years.  A family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents Melvin and Gunda Storbakken; husband Gudmunn; special friend Stan Swaren; daughters Ruby and Carol; brother Roy; sisters-in-law Regina and Eleanor; daughters-in-law Liz and Diane, son-in-law Richard (Dick) Pellern, and special friend Lon Chisson.

Ruth is survived by son Ronald; son Roger (Linda); daughter Thora (Dale) Johnson; daughter Linda Pellern; son Bryan (Liz);  son Mervin (Lori); daughter Laura (William); son Ed (Tracy); brother Ralph; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Lougheed, Alberta
