Obituary of Cheryl Zimmel
It is with great sadness that the family of Cheryl Marie Zimmel announce her quiet passing at her home on February 3, 2023 at the age of 75.
Cheryl was born to George and Tekla Rakoz on October 11, 1947 in Daysland, Alberta. She grew up on a farm around Spring Lake. She attended Daysland School and was a cheer leader.
Cheryl met Jerome and they were married on April 8, 1967. Shortly after, they bought a farm outside of Strome, where they grew grain and raised cattle. They had two daughters – Valerie and Tina.
