Obituary of Edith Eckstrand

Edith Elizabeth Eckstrand was born to Thomas and Elizabeth Henderson at Oyen, Alberta on July 16, 1929 and passed away in the Killam Hospital on July 6, 2015 at the age of 85 years. She is survived by three sons, Kevin (Joyce) of Edmonton, Ian (Gail) of Sedgewick, and Garnet (Debora) of Kalamazoo, Michigan; six grandchildren, Angela (Steven), Anthony, Dustin (Whitney), Jeffrey (Janine), Mac, and Mitchell; three great-grandchildren Mersaideze, Maddison and Greyson; four sisters-in-law Elvera, Ardith, Marge, Pat and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Edith was predeceased by her husband Carl in 1999; five brothers Joe, Alf, Tom, Fred, Don and one sister Sarah. Memorial donations in memory of Edith may be made to the Sedgewick Cemetery Association, Sedgewick United Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
