February 15^th, 1930 – January 16^th, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mum Elsie Bish.  She passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Stettler Acute Care on January 16^th, 2023 at the age of 92.

Elsie was born in Forestburg on February 15^th, 1930 to her loving parents Voila and Ernest Price.  Elsie married Wesley Bish and lived in Forestburg for 69 years and had three sons.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Percy (Peggy), Dale (Jean), and Russ (Louise); seven grandchildren: Aaron (Kelly), Darin (Deanne), Chris (Lisa), Pam (Jason), Kenny (Deanne), Charmaine and Zack. Plus eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; her brother Gerald Price, sister-in-law Lois Price, brother-in-law Doug Bish and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Elsie was predeceased by her loving husband Wesley and infant son John Wesley.  Also family members: Ted & Rita Price, Dick Price, Jean & Alvin Fink, Jack & Mable (Martz) Price, Gwen & Ernie Jans, Ernie Price, Donna Oberg, Gladys & Raymond Kemmis, Goldie & Dugald McCallum, Elaine & Harry Christman, Phyllis & Jock Higgins, Bernita & Eric Butt, Austin & Florence Bish, and daughter-in-law Jeanette Bish.

A Celebration of Life and interment will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023.  The interment will take palce at the Fairview Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.  The Celebration of Life will be held at the Big Knife Villa Drop-In Centre at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or the Forestburg Villa.
