Obituary of Rene Chapotelle

Rene Marceau Chapotelle was born to Marceau and Nora Chapotelle in Hondo, AB on June 16, 1946 and passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 76 years.

Rene married Fran Anderson on June 19, 1981. To this union, four daughters were born. Leaving to mourn his passing is his wife Fran, daughters Deanna (Pete) Parsons, Linette (Josh) Priebe, Andrea (Sawyer) Robison, Alicia Chapotelle (Sean Sigalet); 2 granddaughters Freya Robison and Isabel Priebe.

He is also survived by his three sisters Denise, Mary-Ellen and Lucille, brother-in-law Graham (Debbie) Anderson, and their families.

Rene took great pride in everything he did, from his welding career, woodworking, home improvement and yard.

Rene was a loving father, pappy and friend to many, who will never forget his jokes and stories. 

Memorial donations in memory of Rene may be made to the Killam Palliative Care.
