To the Guenard family, I was saddened to learn of the passing of Noel just this week. In the early 80s I was a business partner with him and remained friends with him calling him once a year to catch up on how he was as I live in eastern Canada. He always had a jovial greeting and unmistakable laugh and funny one liners like How ya doing today lucky, he helped me build some giant bridge forms in 1984 out of steel plate. He was an extremely good trades man and smart as a whip, I regret not having made it out to Edmonton and Hardisty to see him one more time and listen to his stories of old and post depression hardships he endured on the farm and operating heavy equipment before his long career with Continental Can, I will miss you old friend but I will join you someday and continue our story telling good and bad, funny and tearful when we meet again, your friend Michael A.
