Carol Hays was born to Clarence and Elvina Buchholz at Galahad, Alberta on January 5, 1955 and passed away at Daysland, Alberta on June 4, 2015 at the age of 60 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Doug; her two children, Christy (Jim) of Red Deer and Dan of Red Deer; two grandchildren, Harrison and Haily; one grand-dog Ryder; her mother, Elvina; three brothers, Dave (Bernadette) of Forestburg, Garry of Killam, Darrin (Michelle) of Galahad; one sister, Sharon (Dick) of Galahad; one sister-in-law, Barb of Forestburg as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol was predeceased by her father, Clarence in 2011.
