Dearest Mary and family,
We are so sorry for your great loss.
Gordie was an extremely kind and generous man. He always made a point of treating everyone fairly. His honesty shone when he always insisted on doing the right thing. Family meant everything to him. His pride was very evident when he spoke about his children. Jeff, Laurie and Dody were his life. His grandchildren just made life better. These traits made him the very special man he was.
We are reminiscing this week of all the good times we spent together. Specifically when Gordie, Jeff, Rob & sons came to visit us on Vancouver Island. Their long planned fishing trip made a detour to our home for a seafood celebration before heading to Campbell River to go Salmon fishing. It was a special time we will never forget.
In our hearts we are saying goodbye but we will never forget him.
