The family of Leona Helen Weeks announces her passing on May 5, 2015 after just turning 70.

Surviving her loss is her longtime partner of 30 years, Sidney Engblom of Wetaskiwn, son Jeffrey Richard Weeks and his children Mikayla and Jayden of Bonnyville, brother Brian (Heather) Weeks of Stettler, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Leona was predeceased by her parents Mildred and Richard Weeks of Killam, Alberta.

A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Pleasington Church, Forestburg. Inurnment will take place in the Pleasington Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Leona may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
