Obituary of Keith Armstrong
Keith Douglas Armstrong was born to Arthur and Chrissie Armstrong at Hardisty, Alberta on January 7, 1937 and passed away in palliative care in the Killam Health Care Centre on November 19, 2021 at 84 years of age.
He is survived by four sons, Brian (Carol), Dean (Theresa), Perry (Janie) and Dwight (Shelly); eleven grandchildren Chantelle (Josh) Anholt, Bryce Armstrong, Chayla Armstrong (Richard Lansing), Kirk (Danielle) Armstrong, Brad (Stephanie) Armstrong, Callie (Ryan) Piller, Marisa (Nolan) Lewis, Katelyn Armstrong, Cole Armstrong (Ebony Cookson), Travis Armstrong and Rebecca Armstrong. Keith is also blessed with fourteen great-grandchildren, Peyton, Brynleigh, Holden, Elouise, Oliver, Jensen, Henley, Brecken, Jax, Ryder, Evalee, Mason, Addisyn and Austin, his sisters, Pat Kroetch, Sheila (Alvin)) Miller, Sharon (Al) Danylak, Valerie (Danny) Adamson, brother in law Ken Arnold, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Keith was predeceased by his wife Joy Armstrong, parents, Arthur and Chrissie Armstrong, father in law, Orville Smith and mother in law, Betty Smith, sister Heather Arnold, brother in law George Smith and infant grandson Christopher Armstrong.
Due to the Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held. Friends are welcomed to to attend the interment at the Lougheed Cemetery on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 3:45 p.m. Memorial donations in memory of Keith may be made to the Hardisty United Church, the Killam Health Care Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
