Obituary of Gwendolyn Stark

Gwen was born in Grande Prairie on October 16, 1935 and passed away at the Grey Nuns Hospital on March 13, 2015 at the age of 79. She loved kids, and devoted much of her life teaching, caring and helping them grow when she operated her own day care. Gwen is survived by her loving family, Bob Butler of Strome, two sons Kevin (Anita) and Robert Stark of Sherwood Park, three granddaughters Patrisia, Hailey and Kaitlynn Stark all of Sherwood Park as well as numerous nieces and nephews by marriage. She was predeceased by her father Jack and mother Marie Butler as well as a son Lorne Stark. Gwen was a dedicated and caring mother and daughter and gave everything to her family. She always put the needs of others ahead of her own and received such joy keeping the family bonds strong. She will be deeply missed. Donations in memory of Gwen may be made to the Rosevale Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice.
