Obituary of Lois Erickson

Lois was born on January 5, 1929 to Louis and Mary Schmutz in Sedgewick. She passed away in Camrose on March 10, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Lois married Richard "Dick" Erickson on June 6, 1952 at the Schmutz farm. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Dick, her children Richard (Verna) Erickson, Wendy Erickson, Christal Hagen, Holly Andersen, Dawn (Allen) Klebanowski and Douglas (Lori) Erickson; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 9 siblings Phyllis (Joe) Carmichael, Irene Schmutz, Darlene (Ernie) Barker, Joyce Lagadyn, Royce (Sherry) Schmutz, Wayne (Lois) Schmutz, Marvin Schmutz, Lorelie Schmutz and Joan Schmutz. Lois was predeceased by an infant son, her parents Louis and Mary Schmutz, sister Lorelie, brother Lawrence (Bub), sons-in-law Andrew "Don" Andersen, Eric Hagen and brother-in-law Leo Lagadyn. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Sedgewick Community Hall. Memorial donations in memory of Lois may be made to Stars or a charity of the donor's choice.
