Obituary of Paul Van Hecke

Paul was born to Hector and Martha Van Hecke at Battle Bend, Alberta on May 10, 1923 and passed away at the Galahad Care Centre on September 28, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Paul was predeceased by his wife Mary; parents Hector and Mary; step-father Servaes Coene; three sisters Melanie (Millie) Morton, Tressa (Tress) Olson and Ortans (Toots) Lear; two brothers Victor Van Hecke and Alfons (Spud) Coene. Paul is survived by two sons Cecil (Phyllis) and Ernie (Pat); six grandchildren Donna (Michael), Steven, Ann Del (Chris), Bobbie-Jo (David), Roxanne (Michael) and Dustin; nine great grandchildren Shinelle (Clayton), Quinten, Justin, Ethan, Hunter, Phoenix, Willow, Brayden and Madison; two great great grandchildren Ashton and Marley. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m on Friday, October 3, 2014 at the Alliance Community Hall. Interment will take place in the Alliance Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Galahad Ladies Auxiliary or a charity of the donor's choice.
