Obituary of Martin Kroetch

On Sunday, February 26, 2012 Mr. Martin Kroetch of Daysland, formerly of Strome, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his loving wife Hilda; three sons Tom (Lynn), Don (Dianna), Ron (Inger); two daughters Theresa (Mervyn Koughan), Mary Ann (Ken Pullen); ten grandchildren Scott, Craig, Jacqueline, Martin, Colin, Alyson, Anne-Marie, Bria, Alex, Ethan; three brothers Edwin (Gwen), John (Rosa), Rick (Lynne); two sisters Catherine and Donna; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Martin was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Kroetch; four brothers Brian Lee, Father Don Kroetch, Father Tom Kroetch, Lorne Kroetch and one sister Margaret Borle. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Our Lady of the Prairies Catholic Church, Daysland. Memorial donations in memory of Martin may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, W.W. Cross Cancer Institute or a charity of the donor's choice.
