Jim has been a part of our lives for a long time, and his loss leaves an emptiness that will never be filled. I will miss our conversations, I will miss his laugh, I will miss knowing that he is simply a phone call away, I will miss his quiet strength and support when I face difficult times; but most of all, I will miss my friend.
To Deanna and Gavin, we wish there were some magical words that we could say to ease your grief, but take comfort in knowing that your father loved you both dearly; and should you ever be in need of a friend, we will be there for you.
