Dearest Sister, Best friend and my Rock,
It’s hard to say goodbye to you and yet here I am doing just that. I never thought you’d leave so soon or so suddenly, but that is just like you. When you were younger you were a gypsy always moving from place to place, yet staying close to the family.
You were always a family person and always reliable when anyone needed help no matter what, no matter whom. I don’t know what all of us are going to do without you sis, but now we must all find out.
I miss you more than you can ever imagine and I miss everything about you, there won’t be a day I won’t think of you with so many memories, way too many to count. I want to thank you for all of them and for all you did for me and for others. You touched lives and touched hearts. You were one of the rays of sunshine in this very bleak world.
I have only this left to say: If love could bring you back from Heaven, then you’d already be here with all of us again.
Love and miss you so very much, waiting with baited breath until we meet again.

My dearest Aunty Winnie,
Life teaches us many things, but one thing it doesn't teach us is how to deal with the unexpected loss of someone we love and admire. There simply isn't enough space here for me to describe just how important you were to me. You weren't just an aunt, you were my friend. From the beginning, you showed me much love, patience and generosity. I have many fond memories of spending time with you -- going to the wading pool in Saskatoon, baking pie on Bowness Road, picking pin cherries on the highway near Crutwell, shopping in Giant Tiger, visiting you and grandma, seeing your new house in Strome... the memories are endless, really. Most important of my memories are the many private conversations we had, some of which brought me comfort when I needed support. To say that I will miss you is an understatement. Your passing has left a hole in my heart, one I don't think will ever mend. You will forever be missed in my heart. Wherever you may be now, let it be in a place of peace and joy. I love you.

My Aunty, I love you so much. I have a hard time accepting your passing because I just saw you a few days before you left us. Even though you were not feeling well, your personality was still present. I am so lucky to have spent that bit of time with you.
You are with my grandma and grandpa now. Maybe you can share with them the secret I told you before we said our goodbyes. It may not come true, I don’t know yet, but you can pass this on.
I have many memories of you but the one that sticks with me is a memory of your basement suite in Saskatchewan that would only make sense to Rick. I leave you with my memory…Beep Bop Boo, Elevator Door!

I met Winnie over 5 years ago when both started at Walmart. She was beautiful lady with golden soul. Even after I left Walmart I see her and she always had warm smile for me. Sweet hello and kind words . Heaven has a beautiful angel with golden wings .

Winnie was a very special soul who took my daughter Christine under her wing when she started her first job, at the Killam Coop. Winnie always had high praise & words of encouragement for anyone that was lucky enough to work with her. When Winnie resigned her position she generously gave all her Coop shirts to Christine. Thank you for sharing this very special lady with our community. She will be greatly missed.
