Peter Neal Wetmore was born November 6, 1957 to Gertrude (Gertie) and William (Al) Wetmore in Galahad, Alberta. Peter passed away on his farm outside of Galahad Alberta on August 3, 2026 at the age of 69.  

Peter was born and raised in the community of Galahad, taking over his family's farm and raising his own daughter there. He was deeply rooted to the community surrounding his farm, and offered his time, resources, and energy to various organizations, groups, neighbours, family, and friends over his decades in the area. 

Peter is survived by his two daughters: Wren (Sheldon) Brassard, Cydnee (Blaine) Townsend; one granddaughter Piper Eden-Townsend; siblings James Wetmore and Shirley Adshade; Nieces Joan (Dan) Tandy, Nora (Grace) Adshade, and Linda (John) Hayes; and many other friends and relatives that he loved dearly. 

Peter was predeceased by his parents Gertie and Al Wetmore; sister-in-law Betty Wetmore; nephew Ronald Perry; and niece Jennifer Bosse. 

Peter's Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at The Galahad Agriplex. Please join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments following the service.
