Bill was a very kind resident in Killam Long Term Care .
Whenever I was visiting, you would see him giving a helpful hand to another resident named Art.
I would watch the two of them playing board and dice games. One would push the other in their wheelchair.
In the summertime, they sat together out in the courtyard visiting and laughing.
You will be missed Bill. You were a gentle man.

I truly loved Bill with all my heart. I will miss him so much. He was one of the kindest people I've ever known. Nobody had that mischievous sparkle in his eye like Bill and his smile melted my heart every time. See you in heaven Bill. Love you.

Condolences to all of the families. When we did the plumbing and heating for the Strome hall, Bill was our (go to man). Whenever we needed some help, he had more than enough lined up to give a hand. I can see why he was a chosen leader in so many things. Folks like them are the glue for the community. Big hugs to you all. Ron and Eilene Damberger.

Memories flood back as I remember riding on the school bus with Bill to Strome School. We were childhood friends and spent a lot of time together. On a Sunday I would get the truck, pick up Bill, pick up Pricilla and we would drive around the country side all day until chore time. Then we would do the chores and I would drop off Pricilla then Bill. The next Sunday Bill would get the truck and we would do it all over again with Bill driving.
We had a great time back then and it seems that Pricilla was always there with us. I think we were competing for her but Bill won out! Years after when we were married and farming I would stop in every morning at Bill’ farm for a coffee. He was a good friend, I will miss his calm attitude and his good advise.
Rest in Peace my dear Friend.
