Obituary of Romeo Joseph Déchaine
In loving memory of Romeo Joseph Déchaine†.
Romeo was born to Eudore and Carmelle Déchaine on March 28th, 1938 at Farm House St. Lina, Alberta
The Family of Romeo Déchaine is saddened to announce his passing on Saturday December 27th, 2025 at the age of 87 years 9 months at St. Mary’s Hospital Camrose, Alberta.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years Jeannine and his children Gregoire (Christina), Mariette, Adrien (Naomi) and Grand Children Micheala, Jordyn†, Elise (Gryffin), Carmelle, Angelique, Canaan, Celes, Annetta, Dominic, Benoit.
He was predeceased by his Parents Eudore and Carmelle Déchaine, his Brothers Maurice and Gerard Déchaine, his Sister Rachelle Dumas and his Granddaughter Jordyn Déchaine.
He leaves to mourn his Sisters Lorraine Kachmarchyk (Daniel†), Jeannine Joly (Germain†), Francoise Clark (Allan†), Henriette Belcourt (John), Bernadette Bykewich (Larry), Pauline Whitford (James), his Brother Claude Déchaine and Brother In-Law Roger Dumas (Rachelle†) and Sister In-Law Tammy Déchaine (Gerard†).
A Memorial Mass with Father Kris Schmidt will be held Saturday, March 28th, 11:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 3605 50th St, Camrose, Alberta. Please join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments following the service.
A private Inurnment will take place at the St. Lina Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association in memory of Romeo Déchaine.
