Bernice and Charlie were our neighbors for many years. Bernice and my mom, Ruth James, had lots of coffees and discussions together. Dad started us out by calling for any and all kids to help him plant his garden for an orange float after they were done. From that time on, the Lewis kids and the James kids played together, specially for games like hide and seek , kick the can and playing ball. We have lots of memories of times spent together.
