Carol and Family, sending my deepest condolences. I was fairly young when introduced to Gary and Carol, it was my first year in the Battle River 4-H Beef Club. So many great memories, Gary truly represented the 4-H pledge.
My head to clearer thinking,
My heart to greater loyalty,
My hands to larger service,
My health to better living,
For my club, my community,
my country, and my world.
The community will not be the same without him.
RIP Gary.

Carol and family I am so sorry to hear of Gary passing . I have many fond memories of Gary when he and my dad George Elliot worked together at the mine. There was always lots of laughter and good friendship . I am sure him and Dad are up there sharing stories once again .

Gary was a great guy. He had such a great sense of humor and I always enjoyed seeing his smile. My dad considered him a very good friend, even had him as a best man at his wedding. I shall always remember him taking Dad and I for a tour of the Mr. Diplomat shovel at Diplomat Mine years ago when he worked there. Gary will be forever remembered as a special family friend and I know he will be missed. My sincerest condolences to Carol and all the Scheler family.

Sending heart felt condolences Carol and family. So many good memories when we used to visit at your farm when I was young and when you used to come over to Donalda to visit mom and dad. All the backyard parties to celebrate mom and dad’s wedding anniversaries. Hugs.

Dear Carol and family, what a great pleasure to have known Gary. It is with sadness that we accept his passing but then there comes a time. Gary served his family and community very well. Which you all can be very proud of. No more trips to Calgary in the convertible but they will forever be in our hearts. Cold beers and good stories, you gotta love the friendship. Hugs.
