Obituary of Blair Kneeland

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Blair Kneeland announce his passing.  Blair was born in Killam Alberta on August 4, 1957 and passed away in Viking July 18, 2025.

He completed his schooling in Sedgewick and New Norway.  The most of his working life was spent in Dawson Creek, B.C.  In 2020, he moved back home to Lougheed where he enjoyed various activities as a member of the Lougheed Senior Citizens.

Blair’s greatest love was his family.  He is survived by his sister Gay Backen, brother George Kneeland, nieces and nephews; Stacy (Trevor) Kneeland-Rogers, Akira, Trinity, Nathaniel, Brenda (Sean), Dalton, Courtney, Jaida; Jason Backen, Lucas, Sophie, Ben; Juliet (Clint) Olsen, Skye, Rayna; Shelby (Toni) Kneeland, Sayer, Scottie.  He will be sadly missed by a large circle of friends and further extended family.

He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence & Stella Kneeland, his brother Larry Kneeland, his brother-in-law Gordon Backen, his niece Macala Kneeland.

There will be no service at Blair’s request.
