Obituary of Cliff McDermott

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Clifford McDermott, who departed this life on February 21, 2025 at Three Hills Health Center. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 69 years, Carol; daughter Brenda and her children Kelli (Trevor Walline) and their children Katie, Gus and Sophia; Kristin Matier (Trevor Kvale) and her children Austin Pressey (Allison Baird) and Trinity Pressey, and stepchildren Dylan Kvale and Addy Kvale; and Todd Matier. Son Kevin and his children David (Jodi) and their daughter Natalie, and his son Adam McDermott (Camisha) and son Mauricio. Daughter Barb (Lorne Cox) and their children Jordy (Morgan) and their children Harper and Hudson and Janelle (Adam Clark) and their son Evan. Also left to mourn is brother Red McDermott. Cliff was predeceased by his parents and brother Tex and sister Gerri Amiss.

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life will be held March 1, 2025 at Sunnybrook United Church, 12 Stanton Street, Red Deer, AB. T4N 0B8 from 3:00 to 5:00. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
